Is there anybody else here that no longer has contact with their parents or even knows whether they're still alive?

@Austrans Yes it is. It was basically their choice. They are toxic people, so it's ok, but I wish I could have a relationship with great parents.

@SW-User Yes me too, I can't complain though as I a family now, they may not be blood but they may as well be.

@Thanos Thanks for the kind words, my life has taken a tremendous turn for the better. I now live in a lovely apartment, have a good job & share my life with two wonderful women who I love dearly & have become family. ☺
