Mum's the word.

I was born in 1974 and apparently belong to Generation X which is known for 'coming after boomers and before Millennials, and so I was labelled before even being born. Weird, isn't it?
This is my mum who will be 75 this year, wearing her green paisley dress at the tender age of 21. She keeps very active enjoying her music, reading and drama group, needlework and a host of other interests. She is my role model to enjoying life while we are here and as she once said and I quote, "fuck getting older".
Now my motto.

I'm a '74 model too. Gen Xer's rule!

She looks to be a wonderful role model and great mom!

Getting old isn't for the weak and faint of heart, for sure.

My folks turn 79 and 80 this year. I'm fortunate to still have them, but hate to see showing their age and becoming frail.

@HappyCamper74 I know, this is why my mum wants to keep as fit as she can, It's important to move around and keep flexible as well as stay mentally sharp.

I looks like you have a great role model. One to be proud of and I truly love her (and your) motto 😊.

I would say mum is cool and love the motto.

Being a senior doesn`t mean you stop doing what you love. Labels are for jars on the shelf, not people. ;)
