We have had a really nice Mothering Sunday

Our daughter brought us tea in bed and two cards that she had made herself. We then almost had a whole bathtime uninterrupted . . daughter burst in towards the end to discuss oven timings 😅 Then we had a lovely walk in the sunshine by the river and saw two rainbows 🌈 We brought my mother back to our place and our daughter cooked Sunday lunch - roast pork, potatoes, brocolli, cauliflower, followed by apple crumble and custard 😋 Daughter went out on her bike (to give us some time for "adult talk") and we managed to get through the entire afternoon without my mother introducing religion or politics into the conversation 👍 Just taken my mother back home.

Our daughter is still in a lovely mood and this is one of the best days we've ever had as a family 🤗
