I’m so sorry, that must have been just awful. I would imagine that if Link had spoken with a teacher or a school counselor, as mandated reporters they had a legal obligation to phone CPS. It’s unfortunate that they couldn’t have spent just a little more time to get a clearer version of the truth but they do have to err on the side of caution in case God forbid there was a problem. But of course that doesn’t make the situation any less traumatic for you and again, I’m so sorry this happened.

@Cigarguys Seriously??? First of all...people need to mind their own business!!! If there was a problem with Link and the school couldn't understand what he was saying, they should have called you instead to resolve the issue. That's a parent's worst nightmare. Some knucklehead calling CPS due to some misunderstanding.

@Cigarguys I am sure this thing happens with CFS all the time. Too many people calling in false reports and wasting the agency's time. People making these reports should be fined.

called the cops on my aunt said she wasn't feeding her kid and he was too skinny and they came and took him away .. idk how i feel about that 😐 my mom is such a butthead 🙁 idk if she saved the kid from neglect or caused him irrevocable trauma for displacing him 😐 seemed a shitty thing to do to my aunt too 😩
