Grandma birthday party
So Joel also speaks Spanish and it really gets me excited when he does. Sometimes I think he fakes a phone call just to do it. This was not the case.
Last night he was talking to someone and I could tell he was upset. I still don't understand Spanish except for 10 words so I don't know what he was saying. I could just tell he wasn't happy. I know he was talking about his grandma. That is one of the Spanish words I do know.
He got off the phone didn't say anything.
It wasn't until the boys went to bed that he brought it up.
He said I know you got the email about the party but I don't think we're going. I would much rather use have her over for dinner and we have a little family party here. She would enjoy that much better.
Yeah that's sounds nice. I can cook her favorite dinner and we can make a cake.
Yes she'd enjoy that so much more.
So I guess we're not going and I'm really trying hard to not over think it. Is he doing this because this is really what she would enjoy more over is he doing it because of me?
