Things people should never say to a parent with special needs children

My co worker this week have said these things to me

Your daughter is spoiled you should make her go
He's to old for a security blanket
He shouldn't still have accidents
He's to hyper you should put him on meds
He needs to grow up and stop clinging to you
He shouldn't suck his thumb
You should make her do more things she doesn't want it will be good for her
You need to make her eat what everyone is
You need to make him calm down when he talks
You baby him

but none of them know their story our even ask me.

@Cigarguy well u are trying to talk to someone and your child is talking over u. He or she needs to stop and wait

@Ilovelily1986 I never said he talks over me. He doesn't he has manners, he gets excited when he's telling someone about his day and he can get a little loud. He never interrupts or cuts people off

@Cigarguy This says it all...
A woman could be super model gorgeous, but if they have a dark heart and soul, no man, or woman, would ever want to be with them.

@NativePortlander1970 I do kind of agree with the people in the list. i would have had the boy trash that blanket. I see plenty of parent's do that with those baby binky things around 3 year's old. The accidents and thumb sucking there really isn't anything u can do about that. The medicine would be good for the child if he has a hard time concentrating in school.

Also both kids need to do stuff that they don't want to. We all do stuff we don't want to that is just part of life and growing up. Also my mom would never cook two meals. I ate what ever she cooked. specifically today with the cost of food I would never cook two meals. That child would eat what I cook
