Just a psa on how I sometimes use this site to vent…

I may be complaining periodically until I find the items I use regularly, that my middle sister put away, in helping me clean. I’m grateful for the help—the only downside is that I can’t find some of my everyday stuff.

I’ve located the tea that I drink, but she put the boxes on the top shelf of a cabinet I rarely use.

This sister, I may’ve mentioned, is 6’0".
I, on the other hand, am 5’5".

Pardon me while I find the stepladder.
I think I know where she put it. 😳

The trouble with cleanup is it all looks great but It takes months to find where all the necessities went😬

@bijouxbroussard Better than nothing..I guess
@bookerdana I appreciate the gesture. The other sister would’ve said, "Oops ! Oh, well." and gone on.

@bijouxbroussard I can be sentimental about these things ,too so good for Sis!
I decluttered once..you’d never know now!

I see you as one of the kinder and more loving, with a sense of justice and love people of who happen to be here.... so vent all you want, share all you want, even those more touching stories you do at times.... and I'll forgive you upon needing a stepladder. ❤
@SW-User Aww, thank you friend. In my family I’m a bit "vertically challenged". 😉

Get yourself a "grabber" -- one of those extension thingies. I use them all the time because my back hurts too much to pick stuff up off the floor, and my wife uses them for things on high shelves because she's only 5'1".

Try being 6 foot 6
@HumanEarth That’s pretty cool. My sister’s husband is that height.
HumanEarth · F
Cool, till you have to buy clothing

It seems like they forgot about people above 6 feet tall.
@HumanEarth She met him coming out of a Big &Tall men’s clothing store. True story.

Sounds like she might have been trying to mess with you lol.
@SubstantialKick I honestly don’t think so. The youngest one, maybe. But that’s not the middle one’s personality.

Sounds like she has a real playful streak. Maybe she could draw you a map!
mindstruggle · 31-35, F
You're still way taller than me tho lmao
@mindstruggle I’m the shortest in my family. 🤗

Hobbittses is clever like that😂
My daughter "tidies up". I use ✌✌because in her mind, its really logical that she just shoves that in there, near by, or clears all shopping bags by putting them in the rubbish.

Which is nice (a word i use with intention BUT not end result😠), as ive had scripts, jewellery, a sick certificate, spices, a nail kit ....(There a list🙄), end up in the bin .

Some i have rescued in time .

Some went to landfill mever to be seen again.

I have the opposite problem when we organize. My mom is shorter than I am, and she has much less difficulty bending down, so she tends to put things in the lowest cabinets.
