Do you have a tight knit family?

I'm glad to say that I do, but some families hardly keep in touch if at all, and I find that sad.
But they do join Facebook. I find that funny. Facebook, a way to keep families in touch but not too close.

I have no family except my adult kids and my 6 y/o daughter. There is a sister 4 yr younger than me but she and I will never talk again after I had to take her to court in 2022 to get a share (worked out about 15 pct) of our late mum's estate (which I used as a deposit to buy my house last year). Parents both deceased (dad around 2012, mum in 2020).

Relatively tight knit.

@Teileach Very true.
I also love "The Party" and "Being There".
Teileach · 61-69, F
@Bowenw The Party was very good, and Steve Frank as the waiter stole the film from Sellars.
Being There was one of his best.
Bowenw · 61-69, M
@Teileach The drunk waiter was classic in The Party.

No, my family is very dysfunctional and disconnected. I am close with my son and just my cousins and that's it

I do have a tight knit family, but not too tight. We are close, but not intrusive

@HeavenBesideYou That's a good way to be.

@Teileach Thanks. I think so too.

No, they crochet.
Anything but 'tight knit' most of us have not been in contact for decades.
