Not geting my own room after all.

When Star arrived today she said she needed to talk and asked me to sit down. Anxiety ran through me. She said her dad was moving across town and it would be so much easier for her if she could stay at my place. It's only 5 minutes away from her school instead of 45 minutes. Plus she have to get up at 430am to get to my place to watch the kids. And all of her classes are at night so she'd have a long drive home after them. And she'd go home on weekends.
I couldn't tell her no. So looks like I get the living room as my bedroom again.

That's a disappointment. But it makes a huge improvement in her work conditions and is a reasonable ask for her. And it sounds like she is a treasure for you and the kids.

@Poppies yes she is. She's family now. Like a older daughter and sister to us

Unfortunate. Could have been worse. You might have lost Star if she decided to go live with her dad.

@Gusman true and honest id sleep on the floor if I had to to keep her . I am going to get myself a nice new sleeper couch though

@Cigarguy101 Star is one special person, make no mistake about that. Have you told the kids yet. They will be so excited.
