Mum fell last night and hurt her hand very badly.
She's admitted in hospital and she may require some surgery and apparently it's more serious than we thought

A friend of mine, also 72 fell and broke her elbow. Then trying to function one-armed, she tore the rotator cuff in the opposite shoulder. Two days later she learned she had Lyme's disease.

She had a miserable week or two but the elbow has healed, antibiotics solved the Lyme disease problem and 'all' that remains is the shoulder. We're more durable than kids think.
