Getting to know each other

Before I said goodnight to M, she asked me if I would help her in the morning to plait her hair.

We got up half an hour early so we had time before taking her to school. She normally has just a ponytail, but I did French braids and pigtails just to make things interesting 🙂 She looked long and thoughtfully in the mirror then said "No, that's not going to work" 🤣 So a ponytail it was 😊

I may not see her next weekend. All I have to sustain me are memories of her golden braids 😌
