Money is tight

So this week money is very tight with paying the house my apartment and child support and money to my wife.

Replacing her tire really set me back so i decided to give her less this week so i can get by. This isn't coming out of what i give her for the kids.

She wasn't happy. Was i in the wrong

Spending more money on tires means there is less to spend on other things. It's unfortunate but that's how it works.

{@cigarguy101] some people are never happy you are doing the right thing by her and the kids and still she is trying too bleed you for money you do not earn or have .has she never heard of the word job and trying too earn some money to make ends meet rather rely on you solely for income for her and the kids

@smiler2012 she wasn't had a job since we got married. But yes i think its time for her to get a job while the kids are in school.

@Cigarguy101 well you need too put that suggestion to her as she needs too realize you are not a bank and made of money

No you was not wrong you need to cover your main bills and of course Child Support the rest pay what you can but make sure you have enough to cover your self Tell her to pay for her own tire
She wasn't happy?

That's too bad.... she got a tire replaced. She should be happy.

Having said that, let me say this..... "Future behavior can always be predicted by past behavior"
So don't be surprised by her financial demands in the future.

Time for some tough love brother...... Think of your relationship with your soon to be ex as if it were a business. Is your business partner taking advantage of your generosity (as in "partners" share half of what is left after all expenses are met).
