Posing a question to my daughter:

Her birthday is coming up soon. She normally won't talk to me. She moved in with her dad and now she won't hardly speak to me. Her birthday: I've already asked her if she wants a gift card, if so to where? if she wants to hang out with an old friend and I? I'm getting nothing. So I'm thinking of asking one more question: (her name goes here), is there anything I can do to make you feel loved and cared about for your birthday? I'm tempted to do nothing but it's my daughter, it's her birthday.

@samueltyler2 we tried counseling. She was very obstinate in front of the counselor. My daughter did not want to continue counseling. Things were very intense at that time so we stopped. I do have hope that will resume again someday but it's highly unlikely.

After reading the comments I think @CrazyChick21 hit on the real answer. Don't remove yourself from her life, but don't be insistent and she will come back to you.

I know that is extremely difficult to accept and do, but I do think it's the best route for now.
