Day 3 update
First night in the dorm, one of the girls was very homesick and upset. According to to the camp counsellor, all the other girls rallied round and did a great job in making her feel included and happier about life. So much so that no one went home early the next day. Lots of proud parents, I hope 😊
Last night was a reversion to the norm. Riot Act was finally read at 2.30am, four hours after lights out, and some of the ring leaders were removed to other rooms 😬 I don't have the full story yet, but when a counsellor texts me euphemistically about my daughter's "lively humour and irrepressible sense of fun" I can only fear the worst 🤦♀
Hopefully they will be rather keener on the idea of sleep tonight.
