Efforts rewarded

I met the manager of the hotel where my daughter did her work experience last week and we negotiated two early morning shifts for her to work each week over the school holidays. She will be making speciality bread for serving and sale at three hotels within the group. I have a feeling I won't be making my own bread again for some time 🙂

The chef she was working with broke the news by text:

*Hey M, it was great to meet you last week. Let's spend some more time getting to know each other better and making some awesome food* 😊

My girl is pleased as punch and couldn't stop looking at her phone last night. Some people just have a talent for positive living 🤗

If you met with him one more time would she get three early morning shifts? Might be worth it, and fun anyways.
You need to keep the kiddo's happy.

@JamesBugman She's 14 and there are restrictions on the hours children can work. It will be really good experience for her though.
@SunshineGirl Oh wow, amazing at 14, she is starting out young. Good experience if she likes cooking.

That’s not an appropriate comment I don’t think. 🤨@JamesBugman
@Strongtea Oh yea, the wording on that was a bit awkward, I updated it.

@JamesBugman She's doing a vocational qualification in health and nutrition at school. She wants to work in hospitality . . or train as a PE teacher.
@SunshineGirl Sounds good. See how many times that goal changes as she progresses. It is nice she already has goals set.
