Efforts rewarded

I met the manager of the hotel where my daughter did her work experience last week and we negotiated two early morning shifts for her to work each week over the school holidays. She will be making speciality bread for serving and sale at three hotels within the group. I have a feeling I won't be making my own bread again for some time 🙂

The chef she was working with broke the news by text:

*Hey M, it was great to meet you last week. Let's spend some more time getting to know each other better and making some awesome food* 😊

My girl is pleased as punch and couldn't stop looking at her phone last night. Some people just have a talent for positive living 🤗

WOW! 😍😍😍 Your precious girl is such a superstar and I am super proud of her! 💫💫💫 *BEST OF LUCK* to her for her work as a chef in the summer holidays and just like her school work experience I know she'll do awesome again for sure! 🤗🤗🤗
If you met with him one more time would she get three early morning shifts? Might be worth it, and fun anyways.
You need to keep the kiddo's happy.

@JamesBugman She's doing a vocational qualification in health and nutrition at school. She wants to work in hospitality . . or train as a PE teacher.
@SunshineGirl Sounds good. See how many times that goal changes as she progresses. It is nice she already has goals set.

Ah cool! Sorry I took it the wrong way!!@JamesBugman
I would be so creeped out if an adult said
it was great to meet you last week. Let's spend some more time getting to know each other better
in text,to my teenage child ,who works for him. That's inappropriate and a red flag
@SunshineGirl it doesn't matter lmao , it's an adult and one on a supervisory position , make or female, accredited or not. You are low key creepy to arrange that

Your fridge will be full of free, yet expired pastries, that are yet still good.
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
@JoyfulSilence Yep, that's what I hope!
