Sleep walking

Nothing worse than waking up to the alarm on Sissy's door. She was sleeping walking again. Lucky I got to help before she got to the stairs. I got her back in to bed. This is the 2nd time this month she's done this. Not point of going back to bed now. Might as well start the day.

Be sure there is a very secure gate at the head of the stairs. Does the new house have stairs?

I used to have a nephew by marriage who did that when he was little, all the way up to teenager, and then stopped. I do NOT recommend what his parents did. They locked him in his room at night. When I heard that I was horrified. Yes, I know there were stairs, but all I could think was, "What would happen to him if there was a fire?"

@4meAndyou oh God no I would never lock her in her room. We have a alarm on her door that goes off on my phone so I can hear if she gets up at night. She knows to turn it off if she gets up to use the bathroom.

The new house does have stairs but all our bedrooms are on the same floor. And there is a door to the stairs to go down stairs anyway.
