Manipulative relationship

My daughter has been on and off with this kid for years now. This time I'm stepping in to make sure it's over and she gets mentally healthy. The other day she took his call and he was screaming at her that she was a manipulative psychopath because she contacted his Mom to tell her that he was threatening suicide.

Absolutely no contact from now on.

How old is your daughter? Can she think for herself? If she is old enough to be in a relationship, shouldn't she be able to ask for your help? Are you a young mom? A single or divorced mom? She lives with you? It can be hard to raise a child who can be independent. Does she have solid friends? So many questions. Of course a mom protects her children.
