My daughter moved away today

She left today to move to Australia. We’ve spent the past month helping her purge and pack. It’s been exhausting. It didn’t seem real though until this morning as I was driving to work. It hit me out of nowhere and I cried. I almost never cry. I will really miss her

Dang I can only imagine how that must have felt. I personally didn't feel much when leaving my mom's house as she was never too supportive or nice to me anyways although j assume your relationship with them was different.

I hope you both cope up with the separation the best way you can. It's just a temporary thing also so, yinow, eventually you'll meet again

@Andromedanian she actually moved out about ten years ago but it’s just strange she won’t be a 20 minute drive away anymore. I’m really excited for her but she’ll be so far away

@Jenny1234 do you have other children?
