Our oldest boy

Our oldest boy woke me up not long after Joel left. I helped him clean up and give him a snack.

He was playing his Switch and I was pacing the living room. I thought I saw something behind so I turned around. He was sitting on the floor.

Are you okay.

Yeah he said trying not to laugh

So I started started pacing. He was following behind me. We did a few laps around the room. I could tell he was trying to be sneaky. On the 3 lap I didn't stop but I slowed down so he's catch up. He's a few steps behind me and I turn around.

Gotta I said

He turns and got on the couch laughing.

It wasn't me Daddy. He said.

This turned into a very funny game that lasted about 30 minutes. Each time him laughing and running to the couch.

That sounds like he enjoyed that. ☺ Had to of been a great bonding exercise.
But, as I finished reading that, I realized something. I can't remember a single time of one of my kids, starting a mimic game with either me, or my ex-wife.
You think my 20 year old son, will think it weird, if I request that of him, next time we see each other? 😏

@Levenrack he does it a lot this is the second time he's copied me while pacing. He couldn't stop laughing.

@Cigarguy WHY does this remind me of the cat's behavior? 🤔🤔🤔 🤣🤣🤣
