Last night's recap

So once the boys got home and settled in we we were all setting outside. Our oldest boy told us about his trip. We let him go first because his story never lasts as long. It's very moving to me you listen to him and are interested in his thoughts and experience. You are a great dad🌼 My mom would shut me off if I talked more than five minutes... yelling at me that I should wrap it up and that she doesn't need to know everything. And give a disgusted face, after five minutes of any story . It was abhorrent and inhuman. Your son will learn it's ok and good to share his ideas or observations!!! That's a huge lesson that he Matters , and he will admire you for it. Thanks for sharing friend 🦋 It sounds like a wonderful trip!

@Coralmist I am so sorry your mom did that. That is very sad

I couldn't imagine telling him to stop. Just the fact that he is so excited about it and wants to tell me and Joel all about his trip makes me feel good. I love listening to him. Like I said he's a one man show
