Relaxing night

Tonight was a good night. We enjoyed a nice picnic dinner in the living room. Some how my tiny tornado managed to spill his drink even though it was in a cup with a lid.

So I asked him how it happened

I opened the lid

Why did you do that

I wanted to count the ice that Papa put in there

Why did you need to count the ice

Well dad, if there isn't enough ice it doesn't get cold enough so I want to check first

Why didn't you just taste it kiddo

Because I don't like to drink water if it's not cold

Was there enough ice

I think so but I spilled it before I could test it. It was very cold on my legs

Maybe next time you could just test it first

Hmm I'll think about it but dad than I might have to drink warm water

This child of mine
