'Blasting the volume' would be the issue for me. If it's a youngster, then a little chat and a gentle request for less noise will always do the trick...as long as the conversation ends with a threat.
If it's a spouse then it seems to me that divorce is the only answer.
(I was let go from my agony uncle column for some reason.)

My wife used to listen to talk radio all the time and it bothered me as I like a lot of silence. Over the years it's become less of an issue for a variety of reasons. I hope you can work out this situation without too much strife.
I'm glad I don't have that problem. That would be so irritating. I can't stand TVs blasting. I think I would get them a new TV for their bedroom. Haha

It is unbearable. My partner wont wear his hearing aids and has 2 tvs on very loudly listening to sport. Last night i asked to watch one tv and he said he needed them both, so I went to bed. It is very selfish.

If it’s too loud, I ask them to turn down the volume. I rarely watch tv so there’s nothing on I’m interested in watching

I go to another room and shut the door. Or I go outside and relax.

I just stay in another room

That's not acceptable. They use headphones in another room or I have to move.

Go to another room in the house or ask them to go to another room.
