The second ex...my son's father broke something inside me. We were driving my parents second car, and we had a newborn baby...about 2 months old...when the ex told me he was going to a party. I wanted to get a babysitter and I wanted to go to the party. He said NO.

To my way of thinking, the only reason a man refuses to bring his wife with him to a party is because he is planning on cheating.

He took off in my parents car, and stayed out ALL night.

My heart broke. I remember, still, kneeling in the hallway, and crying my soul out into the walls around me...and part of me was never the same.

2010 when my ex-wife lost our son when she was eight months pregnant. I still haven't fully gotten over it, but I have been getting better.

What was in past is irrelevant, I'm trying to think about things from recent years and the biggest shock was probably war in Ukraine. It didn't even come the day we got the news, it was just a start of a period when I started questioning my life, how I was raised, my place in society, my safety and the future. I feel like I've been floating since and just can't find any ground. I feel like the world I was raised and prepared for doesn't exist anymore or at least doesn't exist for me. I realized how alone I truly am and how there doesn't even seem much to fight for in case some major crisis occurs. Not alone like a person stranded on an island, alone in society.

Losing my last relationship a couple of years ago and when my cat died. They took a piece of my heart that will forever be gone.

Last time I felt it was 3 weeks ago (tomorrow) when I watched my cat / soul pet take her last breath.

I'm still struggling a lot with the thought of never getting to hold her in my arms again. 💔 And also coming to terms with being the one who had to make that choice of letting her go. I know it was for the best, but it doesn't feel like it.
