Zack wants a divorce part 2

Hopefully Zack's sister's call was pleasant and supportive. In an odd way, of course he's going to blame you, as he most likely wouldn't blame himself. I suspect he also has issues, but they won't magically disappear if you get divorced.

This is a very sad and tragic event that both of you need to talk about. Some marriages disintegrate after something like this, but not all. This is a trauma that will be with you for a very long time.. I hope this works out for the best for you.

I’m very sorry you’re going through this. Giant red flags with him. He needs to talk about this with you sooner or later (quite possibly in counseling) or else the best thing for yourself is letting him go.

There are going to be many pressure points in life remaining: loss of parents, job stress, etc. Not a great sign for how he’ll handle those based on this.

There's more to this that we aren't being told.

What ethnic background are you and Zack? There could be cultural reasons behind what's going on.

I hope he's willing to hold off and actually talk about the problems.
