She can't make things easy

When she told me she need time apart i didn't fight her. I packed a bag and left. Well I packed all summer clothes and its getting cold. I asked her if i could come into our house and just get a more clothes. She told me she'd let me know when it was a good time. Since i left she won't even let me into the house. I am trying to be understanding but come on. I need my clothes.

Can't you just turn up with the police for your belongings???

She can't deny you your personal possessions like clothes... and it's hard for her to claim that they are not your clothes at the end of the day.

Im trying hard to keep things civil for the kids but its getting to the point where i may have to do something. I don't have the extra money to buy new clothes and i shouldn't have to when i have a whole closet full. I worry about calling the police and me having a outburst. I could back fire on me

@Cigarguy101 That's what the idea of having the police is there for... to help to keep you focused on what you are there for as much as to keep the peace between you both.

If you go with the police, you will be told not to talk to her and they will try to keep you apart to eliminate the potential for you both to get into it again.

You can expect to feel rushed, so try to have a mental picture of exactly what you want and where it is located within the house as best as you can so that you can walk in, put your hands on it and get straight back out in the shortest time possible.

If you're running through all this in your head, I don't think that you would be so inclined to have an outburst... but you have your children for added incentive to keep your anger in check if you do feel it rising.

My plan is to call when my friend is working. He understands my issues and my wife likes him. I think if i show up with him there it will go better. Even if i have a outburst he knows why and i wont hurt anyone.
