I Am Getting a Divorce

My spouse and I are amicably parting. It's hard because neither of us expected us to get here. We make good friends, but we are not good marital partners. Someday, we hope we can be each other's "best person" at the other's wedding. We love each other deeply as friends. But, we cannot make it work anymore as husband and wife. No regrets though.

That's incredible, so different and so much more profitable than so many marital dissolvings. People hold onto anger and resentments when they make it personal, and won't let go.

Consciousness and mindfulness pay off. It's a breath of fresh air to me to see you practicing those. Congratulations to you both.
I think you'll remain great friends.

(The "leaders" of the world could learn a lot by using how you two are handling this, as a model for dealing with each other.)

@PhoenixPhail Thank you! Glad this could be an encouragement.(We agree about the "leaders" as well.)
