She is awake

This girl is amazing. I wish I could be as strong as her. She came off the ventilator with no issues. Though she was very confused and couldn't remember what happened. They gave her some medicine to help her relax. She is still on oxygen but breathing on her own. They are getting ready to move her to a regular room after the doctor does a final exam on her.

That’s a huge step forward. Coming off the ventilator and breathing on her own is such a big milestone. The confusion is understandable, but it’s reassuring they’re helping her stay calm and comfortable. She really is amazing, and so are you for being there through all of this. I’m keeping you all in my thoughts.
