Oatmeal, still a thing?

Weird question, my mom and I were discussing this, I have no idea why. Do kids still eat oatmeal? You know, the Quaker instant oatmeal in many different flavors? Or maybe good old-fashioned oatmeal?
If they do, is it regional? In other countries other than US?
I have a collection of microwavable bowls that my grandmother got by saving Quaker oatmeal labels or something. We use them almost daily for heating food in the microwave. They are color-changing with hot or cold food.
Just curious, as my son is grown and flown and never liked oatmeal anyway.

I had stone ground oatmeal at Panera this morning.

Is Panera the equivalent of Rikers Island where you live? Nice that they serve their 'guests' what we eat here on the outside.
