Oatmeal, still a thing?

Weird question, my mom and I were discussing this, I have no idea why. Do kids still eat oatmeal? You know, the Quaker instant oatmeal in many different flavors? Or maybe good old-fashioned oatmeal?
If they do, is it regional? In other countries other than US?
I have a collection of microwavable bowls that my grandmother got by saving Quaker oatmeal labels or something. We use them almost daily for heating food in the microwave. They are color-changing with hot or cold food.
Just curious, as my son is grown and flown and never liked oatmeal anyway.

@swirlie well, the best way to say it I see people at work eat it....as far as the rest of society goes, they are out of my survey

Personally, I put almond butter, banana and cinnamon in mine
Yum

Well, I guess your counter-argument satisfies the people aspect of this discussion, so I stand corrected.

@swirlie try my recipe next time, it's delish
Add some walnuts, chia and flax seeds too, a splash of nutmeg
Topped with a drizzle of Manuka honey 👍
Bon appetite mademoiselle
