Why do kids only hug leg?

Who do toddlers hug your leg? My toddler loves to hug my calf and rest her head on my knee. is there a certain age where they grow out of that stage? I mean, we dont hug people like that, it would be odd to hug someone’s leg. I’m curious what you do when they do this in public or home?

@DearAmbellina2113 huh? Wouldn’t it be odd if you went to hug somebody, and you hugged their calf, and rested your head on their knee? How are you really supposed to engage with that?
