@IronHamster And we raised them without ever raising a hand against them and they have turned out well. My parents also never hit us, perhaps I'm biased but I think I've turned out ok.

Also it has been illegal in Norway for longer than I can remember, probably longer than the nearly forty years that I've lived here.

@Roundandroundwego IDK. In 2020 a bunch of ungrateful spoiled brats used a dead drug addict as an excuse to wreck cities, causing four billion dollars of damage and hundreds of unnecessary deaths. I guarantee none of those kids got the paddle.
