When you were a baby... Do you remember talking in your head?

nah but i do remember when i first gained consciousness. i was watching Alvin and the Chipmunks and chewing on a red crayon. i took it out of my mouth and started crying. i remember thinking it was salty.

@SW-User well it's the first memory that i can remember. the first time i remember seeing and thinking. before that there was nothing. even at the time it felt like i had suddenly just become aware of myself and my surroundings. kinda hard to explain.

@SW-User so think before you were born. you can't. it was just pure nothingness. then all of a sudden i was in a room, watching a movie in bed with a crayon in my mouth. i was aware that only moments ago there was nothing. as if i had just snapped out or left the nothingness and was given consciousness.
