Ok that's it. No more answering the phone when my friend with 2 kids calls.

She doesn't have the courtesy to go to a quieter room before she calls me, she NEVER asks the children to play quietly, and I can hear the 4 year old SCREAMING in the background every time she calls. 🗣

Look, I'm sorry you landed yourself into pseudo-parenthood (they're not her bio children but she's dating their mom), but I deliberately made the choice to NOT have kids so I wouldn't have to deal with what you're dealing with. 🙅🏻‍♀️

I can't stand talking with people on the phone with that kind of noise in the background. I have one friend who's dog demands her attention when she and I are talking. She's constantly having to deal with him, sometimes more than talking with me. It really gets in the way.
