Do the positives of designer babies outweigh the negatives?

Well regaurdless of the design of your body, your not aware of it until your born and learn to use it so... does it even mater?

People are born with crippled bodies and have to make due with it thier entire life time. Having a body designed by your parents isnt really a big deal. Infact i would think it would be a bonus because someone took thier time to make you perfect to them rather than letting natural selection decide your perks and flaws.

But would they be psychologically supressed in life? Because one of the major parts about life is overcoming obstacles and evolving.

Example: people who have no issues and are coddled/ pampered thier whole life tend to have less skills and understanding of the world. Maybe a superiority complex, misunderstanding of things or rely on others for basic self care. If we had a whole society like that then we would all seem like the americans on the internet.

@GuyWithOpinions That's a good point about disabled offspring. That's one big positive.

@GuyWithOpinions well if everyone could have the same good start it would be nice! it might not be perfect and they might go through trouble in the future anyway but at least not due to those things

@LittleBlueAngelBoy how lovely!
Well, some babies just have that designer style
popmol · 26-30, M
@sstronaut damn, very impressive
What are the negatives?
popmol · 26-30, M
@BohemianBabe people see the fact that the parents could design their children like a video game character, hair colour eye colour and such
@popmol But where is the negative in that?
popmol · 26-30, M
@BohemianBabe people think its wrong. i do not agree. weird maybe, a bit much maybe but other than that not bad.

Well, so far, I seem to be working out okay, so I'd say the positives outweigh the negatives by a good margin.
popmol · 26-30, M
@swirlie i did not!

Matt85 · 36-40, M

GuyWithOpinions · 31-35, M
