In your search, you may find out things you didn't ever want to know. You might find out that your birth mother was a drug addict. You might find out she was only 15 years old and got pregnant in high school. You might find out that your birth grandparents were ashamed of her, and you, and wouldn't allow her to keep you.
You might find out that your birth mother is married and has another family now, and made no effort to find you.
OR you might discover that your birth mother died.
