I went to high school and was friends with someone who was part of a crime family, only I didn't know it until she got married. he told us, a small group of friends, that on his wedding day her uncles let him know that this was forever and he cant ever hurt her. or else. He was quite scared! and really? Why did they wait till the wedding day?
