Shortages and greed are KEEPING the prices high, but people are working HARD to build pipelines which will bypass the Strait of Hormuz and other hairy areas.

SOMEDAY the prces will go down and STAY down. Let's all pray!!!

Given that very little of what's pushing gas prices up came from the Left, no. If anything, the push for electrics and alternative power sources (assuming they actually, y'know, worked) would ease consumption of oil (in those forms, anyway) and drive gas prices DOWN.

They've given those of us here in the US a migration crisis, completely unwarranted hate towards half the population (with a huge and ever-increasing number of the other on powerful antidepressants) and a bigger assault on basic Constitutional rights than we had under Dubya, but that doesn't have much to do with gas prices.
