Has anyone had a sleep apnea test

Old Mrs. Kelly - she nearly hit the jackpot - 115 times per hour she stopped breathing

Stopping breathing 800 times over 7 hours indicates severe sleep apnea. This equates to an Apnea-Hypopnea Index (AHI) of about 114 events per hour, well above the 30 events per hour threshold for severe classifications.

Yikes! I don't have that problem...but, geez...that's awful.😱

Yikes! I haven’t had the test…can’t afford health insurance to get it done…but my watch records what it calls “several severe events” pretty much every night.

Hope your wife gets what she needs to help it!

Wow! She's got it bad! If the mask and the machine are too noisy for both of you, (the ex had to wear a mask at night), I've read that they can install a subcutaneous button that will do the same thing, but quietly and without that awful mask.

@4meAndyou We have a spare room and I have no problems sleeping in that room

@NeddyKelly They didn't have sleep apnea tests when my father was alive, and he snored horribly. They, also, had to sleep in separate rooms after all their children left the house.
