I really miss you Dad

He passed on Valentine's Day this year. He was diagnosed with aggressive Lymphoma just one month prior in January. It was so fast, and while we were not very close, he was the only parent I could occasionally share some of my life with.
I miss us watching Midsomer Murders together. I miss his humor as well....dry and sarcastic. He'd say
" That guy is on the pipe", about many rude assholes. 😄
Tonight I'm thinking of him and I am so sad I'll not see his face again. I'd hope there's life after this, but we don't know. I miss you a lot, Dad🌹 Love you.

A very respectful tribute to your father. I miss mine as well. He passed 20 years ago and I still miss him. Tonight, my mother passed away. They’re back together after all these years. It’s tough losing your parents.

@carpediem Aww what happened with your mom? Many sympathies🕊

@Baybreeze Thank you. She fell a couple months ago at 94. She’s with my father now
Sorry for your loss. Just celebrate him in your soul and heart. I look at it this way, at least he will not hurt anymore. The same way I feel about my mother when she passed. Big hugs my beautiful friend 🫂

@CheshireHatter It was the only positive aspect 😢
@Baybreeze I am glad you found some peace with this. He will always be a part of you and he is proud of you for everything you accomplished. I can feel it in your singing and special moments you share. You are one cool chick ☺

I’m sorry for your loss. My dad and I were not close but his sudden death struck me with a lonely sadness I couldn’t rid myself of for a long time. It does get better.

@Muthafukajones we don't think day to day about who we might not see again, I know I never did with my dad. It's very fragile, this life. I'm sorry your dad passed suddenly. Heart attack?

I try to think of it as just going home [media=https://youtu.be/TvThHk-wMRk]

@kodiac I do hope so. I'm not religious but I'd like for his essence and spirit to be free. That's such a beautiful video, thanks friend 🪻
