Unfortunately, no matter how hard one tries, feathers will get ruffled.

I would, without hesitation, immediately and forthwith, avoid circumlocution by ascertaining the essence of the issue and by doing so, address the matter obscured by the use of clichèd metaphor, hopefully in a way which will prove my ability to muster brevity when required.
