People calling me up to participate in random surveys…such as a Green Energy survey rep did this afternoon. I told them I didn’t have time for it, was doing chores. They probably are fishing for new customers trying to rip them off with solar panels like what happened to my neighbors. They are in their 70’s and got panels installed that were supposed to save them a lot of money on electricity and the payments are $300 a month for 30 years. No heirs are going to get their home if they don’t live to be over 100 years old. It will go to pay off that loan.
@Musicman And they would send out young guys walking door to door canvassing the neighborhood and aggressively pushing this company. I told them several times I wasn’t interested and they kept coming back and ringing the doorbell. Would see them all summer long a few years ago. Then there was the pesticide company sending out their sales people bothering us. And landscapers, roofers and other maintenance. I have a very specific NO SOLICITING sign on my front door now and they will be violating city ordinance if they go ahead and ring my doorbell to bother me. I only want people here that are on official business that is already established with us.
@Musicman Really good. I got a printed one with all the excuses they use to get a person to open to door that states that those are soliciting and not to do it. One afternoon the boy saw a couple of people knocking on doors and he came and told me. I told him to get a paper and write NO SOLICITING on it and tape it the front door. He did and they saw it and went on. One time someone had to ring the doorbell to tell me about something to do with inspecting the natural gas meter and they apologized for it and I told them it was OK. I don’t want to be bothered with unnecessary interrupting and strangers at my door since I started on chemo.

Those who respond with "I'll let you know..." Being put through to extensions that never pick up Celebrity endorsements Endless passwords for no logical reason
