Not to brag, but...

As useless as I may seem/feel, I can always be used as an example atleast.

Like when mom told my much younger sisters "if you keep eating like that, you'll get as fat and lazy as him"

So, yeah.... Atleast I can be used as a bad example.

@TheRealBarbossa Yeah, I could do the same about my father!

@WillaKissing educated guess here, but when you see people getting along with their parents, or hear people announce they love their parents, do you feel like it's gotta be a lie? Or unrealistic? Or that they simply got lucky enough to win the jackpot of life?

Any mother/child relationship where they can speka freely and openly to one and other feels fake to me, bc I have no reason to believe such a thing is possible.

@TheRealBarbossa When I hear people say they have that relationship with their parents I am happy for them, and I provided my son and daughter with that love and respect That I never got.

But it does hurt me to see how I could have been raised.

@WillaKissing that's a good way of thinking, even tho it hurts you personally.

One should always be happy for others achievements and happiness, but more often than not, jealousy gets in the way, sadly.

@TheRealBarbossa My father and my ex-wife were extremely jealous and controlling people, so I grew to hate jealousy and chose not to repeat it or to spread it. I just share from my heart and mind and stay when welcomed and walk away when not.
