I was shopping at Bunnings today when I bumped into my brother who I haven't seen in 20 years!

He had parked next to our car and recognised me straight away. He looked familiar to me but I couldn't place him. Particularly as I always remembered him being taller. We got to talking, exchanged particular and I'm meeting up with him tomorrow. Turns out we have been living on the street the past 2 years and didn't know it.

That is good news reconnecting especially with an immediate family member. Hope it turns out well. Have a great day tomorrow.

I haven't seen or heard from my brother in almost 40 years. I don't know if he is even still alive.
That's so awesome. I'm glad for you.
That's nice, I hope you have fun tomorrow

@Thevy29 shows it is a small world bet you had a lot to catch up on
Why haven't you seen him all this time? Are you step brothers ?
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
@PiecingBabyFaceTogether Step brothers. From Dad's first marriage. He went away for work, came home and she had left with kids back to England. My bro had immigrated back to Australia when he was 18. Then in 2000 he found us and tried to reconnect.
Something happened between him my other brother and dad. They would not tell me what. And he cut off contact. He'd found dad again at the beginning of the year but... Dad said he passed on my phone number to bro but wouldn't give me bro's. I don't know why? I just want to connect with him without all this drama.

@Thevy29 I'm praying this is the connection you really need in your life. X
@Thevy29 I'm glad you found him again. I wish you the best

How does one go 20 years without seeing an immediate family member, unless they moved overseas?
