Looks like the new walker Mrs Kelly has, I wondering where she gets too in the afternoon

@OriginalNedKelly If you have any Bingo halls she might be sneaking out and going there. Very popular with seniors here. Some get so hooked that they go almost every day. 😂

This is interesting:
"Another critical point raised during the discussion, around the 7:25 mark, involves warnings from Adam Swart, CEO of Crowds on Demand. Swart cautions that the protest culture in America could be exploited by paid agitators or even foreign actors seeking to fuel division. He mentions that his organization turned down a $20 million offer to recruit participants for a national rally against President Donald J. Trump, highlighting the potential for financial incentives to manipulate public demonstrations. This revelation adds another layer of complexity to the funding debate surrounding the 'No Kings' movement.
Asra Nomani builds on this point, suggesting that such financial incentives could undermine the authenticity of the protests. She argues that when large sums of money are involved, it becomes difficult to discern whether participants are genuinely motivated by personal beliefs or are influenced by external forces. This perspective aligns with broader concerns about maintaining the integrity of public discourse and civic engagement."

TRUE...
A close up reveals that most of these folks are what my son used to call "Whiteheads", and the ones who aren't are housewives.
Matlock and/or the soaps...🤣🤣🤣

True! The paid protesters are recruited from retirement homes. It's something to do, and an easy few bucks for lonely seniors. They don't know what they're protesting, and they don't care.
Not that any liberals that might be in the crowd know, either. If someone asks, all they do is throw some insults, maybe a threat, and run away.

@AbbeyRhode Well, it's always good that our seniors get out for some sunshine and fresh air.
TexChik · F
@AbbeyRhode I think they were offered Werther's and denture cream to go stand out on the corners with commercially made signs until nap time.

@Nimbus I hope they wear sunblock. Gotta be careful with that sensitive skin that the elderly have.

Matlock doesn't come on until like 9. I bet they're not making it long past Jeopardy.
Nimbus · M
@SpectralMourning Thanks for the info 👍

After that Murder She Wrote and then Antiques Road Show…then a glass of warm milk before they go to bed.

@Nimbus I had to get up at 4 a.m. this morning to get ready for chemo today, takes an hour to drive up there in good traffic, longer in heavy traffic which is unpredictable. Anyway last night I took my shower, ate a yogurt, made 2 cups of chamomile tea and drank it, downed a couple melatonin gummies, and chased them with a half an eye dropper of CBD oil. I did a couple of cryptogram puzzles and was out like a light. Follow me for more tips on how to get to sleep earlier when you are used to staying up at night late.
Nimbus · M
@cherokeepatti Wow, that's very early and I am glad you slept well.
I hope the chemo is going well.
I like chamomile tea too ;)

@Nimbus Yeah it was early had to be there at 6:45 with a lot of other early birds. They had me get my blood work at the chemo lab on Wednesday followed by a visit with my oncologist so I could get there early. It was good to be able to go home at 10:45. Ray took me to the car lot where his grandson was watching it and waiting for customers to make payments. He let him drive me home. And he went straight to bed like he had gotten up at 4:00 a.m. instead of 7:30. I ate a yogurt and drank a cup of matcha tea and dozed off for an hour. Then loaded the Crockpot with chicken, tomatoes, onions and cumin and am cooking it for their dinner. It is a tasty dish good for sandwiches, soft tacos or served over rice.

False, it's Jeopardy they need to get home to see.
Nimbus · M
@Justmeraeagain I guess it's essential :)
