How different are you from your siblings?

I have an older brother who is older by three years. We used to be close as kids but we took different paths as we got older. He went to college and works for a mortgage company. He's married with kids and has a nice house in a nice part of town with a nice car. I don't know if we stood next to each other you could tell we are brothers but that's about it. He doesn't really talk to me these days much. I'll see him at gatherings and ocassionally he will take me to lunch but I don't know. Sometimes I feel like he wants to hide me and others in the family from his shiny new life and shiny new friends and family. Sometimes I feel like I'm not good enough for him anymore. Just can't help but to feel looked down on. My nieces barely even know me. I've only met them a few times. They probably forget about uncle dan over here. I'll reach out to my brother too and say hey let's hang out or hey want to come over we can get pizza? He usually turns me down or already has plans or isn't feeling social. I suppose it's his choice but it just sucks.

I have two younger brothers.

1. The one I am closest to. We're 5 years apart. We fought like hell as kids. He was loud, willful, a comedian, and disobedient. I was shy, well-behaved, socially awkward, and never got into trouble. The older we got though, we actually became friends. He's still to this day the one I call when I'm upset or just need someone who gets my inside jokes.

2. We are 10 yrs apart so we didn't bicker like some siblings, but basically we are the same person. Same interests, same tastes, same politics, even the same personality (quiet and bookish) except he is FAR smarter than me and a lot more sarcastic.
