We’re having a family barbecue today while we watch the Monaco Grand Prix.
It’s sunny but a bit too breezy. Dad has been to the butchers for fresh sausages, beef and ostrich burgers, sausages, ribs and chicken wings. My husband Dan has been making marinades for the meat. Mum has been preparing salad, savoury rice, dips and buns.
And ofcourse I’ve brought the cider, beer and bottles of wine - or lady petrol as Dad calls it. And with the good country of Great Britain providing us with a holiday tomorrow, we can either celebrate a good race, or get drunk ignoring it if it’s boring.
Here’s hoping the weather says good and the racing is spicy.
