Mum / in law toxic relationship. But it doesn't sound like u been through Mum / daughter toxic relationship? That is one big toxicity to get out of, lingers into adulthood can even be there for life unless u get therapy involved.

Possibly she’s less than warm because you’re still depending on them to care for you while you have a husband ? Perhaps that’s where the “entitlement" comes in ? 🙁
