Welp, just told the son in law he gots to go.

He won't help keep the house clean, his room looks like a landfill, he's all but destroyed my vehicle, he hasn't given me his half of the rent, he talks about me behind my back so.... Buh bye now.

I assume he married your daughter. Where is she in all this? And how in the world did this odd situation come about?
Reminds me of the "All in the Family" episode when Gloria left home and her husband Mike stayed with her parents, Archie and Edith.
Archie: "Well Edith, it looks like we lost a daughter, but we gained a meathead." 🤣
@Punches The title of the Episode is "Gloria Discovers Women's Lib".

@SmileOnYourBrother oh yeah I found snippets of it. BTW when I was a kid, that Mike guy scared me. Like the kind of guy who would be offering free candy from his van.

Even today that guy scares me. 😬

@Punches He really was creepy wasn't he!!
Stephie · 22-25, F
😢 I talk about you behind your back too but only positive things. That's why everyone here on SW loves you. It's thanks to me and I am proud of myself...
Tumbleweed · F
@Stephie I love you my sweet lil bird! 💖🐦
Stephie · 22-25, F
@Tumbleweed I love you too and I am sorry you have to endure this guy. From the pictures, it really looks like a mess. Hope you don't have to clean and that he has the decency to do it himself 😓
Tumbleweed · F
@Stephie Pfft, he's not going to clean. I'll have to shampoo the carpets & everything.

You’re doing the right thing
Sevendays · M
@Tumbleweed give him the boot
Tumbleweed · F
@Sevendays I just did & I told my mom whatever he leaves in my house will go straight to the dumpster. I'm not a storage company.
Sevendays · M
@Tumbleweed you tell him!
Sad, but you HAD to do it!
Tumbleweed · F
@SomeMichGuy Yeah & now I'm the bad guy. But you know what? I do not care.

@Tumbleweed You are fine.

This is really going to help your equanimity.

It was only necessary.🤗
Tumbleweed · F
@GunFinger He don't know how to clean & he can't manage money AT ALL. I just want him gone. Period.
GunFinger · F
@Tumbleweed that's hard. Guilt tripping you won't go anywhere. Tell your daughter that they have to find a place of their own.
Tumbleweed · F
@GunFinger She has her own place now. She left him years ago & is married & very happy now. There are kids involved so I was trying to do what was best for them but my daughter is about to jerk visitaion from him anyway because of his ways.
do you live in mississippi

a landfill 😄 Can you post a photo? I wanna laugh.

Ms. Tumbleweed, were you generous enough to give him this?

You might be thinking, "A boot? WTH?'

No, this pic is of...DA BOOT!

@Tumbleweed When someone is living in the house, sometimes they can be difficult to get rid of mostly because they do not usually understand.

Of course they always think the person that kicked them out is the bad guy.

I have a family member who has been booted out of several households and he doesn't seem to understand why. It is always someone else's fault. 😄
Tumbleweed · F
@Punches Yeah it's all me. I used him, blah blah blah...
Punches · 46-50, F
@Tumbleweed Some people, like your son in law, may lose sight of the fact that when we are in another's home, we kind of need to show respect and maybe pick up once in a while.
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
😧 you waited this long
Ducky · 31-35, F
Yikes. You have a lot more patience than me. I would've booted his ass with the first of those transgressions.
Ducky · 31-35, F
@Tumbleweed That's really too bad. But now he can be someone else's problem.
Tumbleweed · F
@Ducky My thoughts exactly, girl. When my mental well being is jeopardized, it's game over.

@JohnnyNoir I told my mom whatever he leaves in my house will go straight in the dumpster. I'm not a homeless shelter & I'm not a storage facility.
Wish I was there so I could throw him out by the scruff of his neck for You, and in case he tries to get tough, tell him I used to be armed security in Las Vegas, at Caesars Palace, a city where security officers are expected to help take down an MMA fighter when they get too drunk and rowdy in order to get a gig at a casino resort...
