Hey people my age, do you remember when your parents had phone bills that were extremely expensive?

I remember my dad being pissed once that we had an $800 phone bill which in today’s money would be around $2000.

I think $400 was the highest we reached. My younger brother connected to a for pay dial in porn site or something like that. I don't remember all the details but my father was definitely pissed.
